This is 4:165
رُّسُلاً مُّبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ لِئَلاَّ يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى اللّهِ حُجَّةٌ بَعْدَ الرُّسُلِ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا
Rusulan mubashshireena wamunthireena lialla yakoona lilnnasi AAala Allahi hujjatun baAAda alrrusuli wakana Allahu AAazeezan hakeeman

The Aya says:
Envoys, bringing glad tidings and warning, so that there will not be a valid excuse for the people upon Allah after the envoys. And Allah happened to be dominantly strong, wise.

My personal note:
The aya mentions that the messengers/ envoys of God bring the glad tidings and warn people. This way the people cannot use the potentially valid excuse of “I was not informed”. The Aya reaffirms that this is linked to Allah’s dominance, strength and wisdom.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Rusulan: messengers/envoys
Note: RUSULAN is derived from the root R-S-L and it means to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or senders. RUSULAN means messengers and is the plural of Rasul who is the one that is sent and is used to mean the messenger or envoy because he was sent by the sender to the receiver.
Mubashshireena: bringing glad tidings
Note: MUBASHSHIREENA is derived from the root B-SH-R and it means the outer skin. This is also a sign of beauty and good news as a concept. MUBASHSHIREEN are the ones who bring good news or glad tidings.

Wamunthireena: and warning/ and informing of consequences
Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture. WA often corresponds with “and/ addition” but the more encompassing meaning is in inclusion one in another or all in a bigger picture or sentence. MUNTHIREENA is derived from the root N-TH-R and it means self imposed consequence. This means that a person will say that I will do this if this happened or that a person will have a consequence happen to him/her if another event happened. MENTHIREENA are the ones who inform about self imposed consequences of actions and in this context, it is close to warning.

Yakoona: happen to be
Note: the root is K-W-N and it means being. YAKOONA is an action that is being completed or will be completed that is derived from the root. It means: the action of being is happening or will be happening by the subject (third personal singular). This in turn means, in this context: happen to be.
Lilnnasi: to the people/ society
Note: LI means to. ALNNASI is derived from the root the root is Hamza-N-S and it means socializing. ALNNASI are the society or the people.
AAala: upon
Allahi: Allah
Hujjatun: valid excuse/ valid point/ a point to pursue
Note: the root is Ha-J-J and it means pursuit. This word then has many derivations including pursuit of a proof, vs pursuit of a person or place and it also means a pursuit that happens at regular intervals as in a meeting or celebration or harvest or whatever. HUJJATUN is in this context a point to pursue and that is a valid excuse or point.
baAAda: after
Note: the root is B-Ain-D and it means further in time or space. In space it means farther in distance and in time, it means after. BaAADA here means: after.
Alrrusuli: the envoys/ messengers
Note: ALRRUSULI is derived from the root R-S-L and it means to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or senders. ALRRUSULI means the messengers or the envoys and is the plural of Rasul who is the one that is sent and is used to mean the messenger or envoy because he was sent by the sender to the receiver

Wakana: and happened to be

It means: the action of being happened by the subject (third personal singular pointing to Allah). This in turn means: He was or He happened to be.

AAazeezan: Dominantly strong/ dominant
Note: the root is Ain-Z-Z and it means the hard earth that will not yield under the rain and therefore, will make the rain water flow rather than seep. It is used for entities that are strong and defeat pressure, basically the combination of strength and dominance.
hakeeman : Wise/ steering
Note: the root Ha-K-M and it means the steer that steers the animal. This word is used for ruling and judging as well as other meanings that contain steering as part of the concept. HAKEEM means wise or the steering. The steering means the entity that steers in the best way
