وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ
أَشْرَكُواْ مَكَانَكُمْ أَنتُمْ وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَقَالَ
شُرَكَآؤُهُم مَّا كُنتُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُونَ
Wayawma
nahshuruhum jameeAAan thumma naqoolu lillatheena ashrakoo makanakum
antum washurakaokum fazayyalna baynahum waqala shurakaohum
ma kuntum iyyana taAAbudoona
The Aya
says:
And day
when we gather them all, then we say to the polytheists stay where you are and
who you partnered (with Allah). So, we
separated between them and the partners said: “You were not worshipping us”.
My
personal note:
The
partners in here are the entities that the humans invented for worship in
addition to Allah. In here. the ones
that were worshipped are telling their worshippers that they were wrong in a
sense.

WA here is for initiation of a sentence that is connected to the previous
one. YAWMA is derived from the root Y-W-M
and it means day or a full time cycle. YAWMA means a day or a time cycle when.
Nahshuruhum:
We gather them/ We collect them
Note:
the root is Ha-SH-R and it means gathering. One concrete meaning of the word is
small creatures of the land as the insects. The relationship is the fact that
they gather in big numbers in one place as to eat and so forth. NAHSHURUHUM is
an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of
gathering the object (HUM= them) in one place is going to be made to happen by
an the subject (first person plural).
jameeAAan:

the root is J-M-Ain and it means gather the different parts together or putting
things together. JAMeeAAaN means together or all.

equality or being on par. ASHRAKOO is an action that is completed. It means:

Makanakum:
your place/ your time and

the root is K-W-N and it means being. MAKANA points to time or place of being
of. KUM is plural you.
Antum: you (plural)
Washurakaokum:

derived from the root SH-R-K and it means partner or partnership and with this
partnership is a measure of equality or being on par. SHURAKAO means partners of. KUM means plural you. Here partners could

to manage and does smooth sailing either by it’s own or by being subject to
pressure from above. It is used for
slave or servant or anyone who is humbled for love or devotion or by the sheer
power of the other entity. TaAABDUDOONA
is an action that is happening or will be happening. It means: the action of worshipping or
humbling oneself is happening or will be happening by the subject (second
person plural)
