ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كَذَلِكَ حَقّاً عَلَيْنَا نُنجِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

thumma nunajjī rusulanā wa-alladhīna āmanū kadhālika aqqan ʿalaynā nunji l-mu`minīna

The Aya says:

Then we save our messengers and those who are faithful.  As such, it is binding on us to save the faithful

My personal note:

The Aya tells us that in the end, Allah will always be supportive to the faithful, no matter how dominant the falsehood is.

Translation of the transliterated words:

thumma: then

nunajjī: We save

Note: NUNAJJI is derived from the root N-J-W and it means to come out of a tight situation or place or otherwise according to the situation. It is used to mean saving from a bad place but it can mean other things according to the context. One of the derivatives of the word is NAJWA which means the thing that people keep tightly held and that is their secret. NUNAJJI is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of saving or rescuing or making the object (RUSULANA=our messengers) slip out of a tight situation is happening or will be made to happen by the subject (first person plural).

Rusulana: our messengers/ envoys

Note: RUSULANAis derived from the root R-S-L and it means to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or senders. It means: the action of making the object (not mentioned and therefore the subject and the object can be the same entity here) become safe happened by the subject (third person plural). So, it ends up meaning: they made themselves safe.

Kadhālika: As such

aqqan: binding/ binding truth

Note:  HAQQAN is derived from the root Note: the root is Ha-Qaf-Qaf and it means binding right where right means correct as well s what is due to one person (rights and obligations). HAQQAN means binding.

ʿalaynā: upon us

Nunji: we save

Note: NUNJI is derived from the root N-J-W and it means to come out of a tight situation or place or otherwise according to the situation. It is used to mean saving from a bad place but it can mean other things according to the context. One of the derivatives of the word is NAJWA which means the thing that people keep tightly held and that is their secret. NUNJI is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of saving or rescuing or making the object (ALMUMINEENA= the believers/ the ones with faith) slip out of a tight situation is happening or will be made to happen by the subject (first person plural).

l-mu`minīna:  the faithful

فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلاَّ مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قُلْ فَٱنْتَظِرُوۤاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ مِّنَ ٱلْمُنْتَظِرِينَ

fahal yantairūna illā mith`la ayyāmi alladhīna khalaw min qablihim qul fa-intairū innī maʿakum mina l-muntairīna

The Aya says:

So what they are waiting for except like the days of those who vacated before them?! Say (OH Muhammad): Wait.  I am with you waiting.

My personal note:

The Aya  reminds them that the people before them who rejected the messages were punished so it brings to them.  Are you waiting for the same?!

Translation of the transliterated words:

fahal: So what?/ how?

yantairūna: they wait/they stay put

Note:  YANTATHIROON is derived from the root N-THa-R and it means seeing/observing/watching with one side of the meaning stronger than the others according to the situation. At times it means giving reprieve or giving time to correct things and that stems from the observing/watching as if it is time of observation/watching or waiting or given time.  YANTATHIROON is an action that is happening or will be happening.  It means: the action of waiting or staying put is happening by the subject (third person plural).

Illā: except/ if not

Note: the root is KH-L-W and it means emptying or emptying except for. One concrete word that is from this root is KHALIA and is the name of the bee hive because it is empty of any life but the bees. Min: from

Qablihim: before them

Note: the root Qaf-B-L and it means front. This is then carried in time or space or any plain of thought. If it is in time, then front means before, while place would be in front. It is used to mean acceptance and reception since we receive and accept using our fronts. QABLI here is front in time and that is before. HIM means them.

fa-intairū: So wait

Note: FA means so or therefore or then.  INTATHIROO is derived from the root N-THa-R and it means seeing/observing/watching with one side of the meaning stronger than the others according to the situation. At times it means giving reprieve or giving time to correct things and that stems from the observing/watching as if it is time of observation/watching or waiting or given time.  INTATHIROO is an order or request addressed to a group.  It means: wait.

10:101

 Salaam all

10:101

قُلِ ٱنظُرُواْ مَاذَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلأَرْضِ وَمَا تُغْنِي ٱلآيَاتُ وَٱلنُّذُرُ عَن قَوْمٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُونَ

quli unurū mādhā fī l-samāwāti wal-ari wamā tugh`nī l-āyātu wal-nudhuru ʿan qawmin lā yu`minūna

The Aya says:

Say (O Muhammad): look what is in the heavens and earth. However the signs do not enlighten people who do not attain faith.

My personal note:

Faith is something that can be part of process.  It starts with being open minded, controlling our bias and it is strengthened by acts of worship, charity and increased understanding of the Qur’an.  The more closed minded the person is because of their bias, the harder for them to attain faith.  We always have to keep an open mind and we always need to check our bias.

Translation of the transliterated words:

quli: Say (O Muhammad)

Note: QUL is derived from the root Qaf-W-L and it means saying in any way possible. QUL is a demand or request addressed to a singular.  It means: say or respond. It is an order addressed to a singular and that is the prophet Muhammad upon him be peace

unurū: Look/ watch

Note: UNTHUROO is derived from the root N-THa-R and it means seeing/observing/watching with one side of the meaning stronger than the others according to the situation. At times it means giving reprieve or giving time to correct things and that stems from the observing/watching as if it is time of observation/watching or waiting or given time.  UNTHUROO is an order or a request addressed to a plural.  It means watch/ observe/ look.

Mādhā: What

Fī: in/ on

l-samāwāti: the aboves / the heavens/ the beyond the earth

Note: the root is S-M-W and it means rising. This word is used to mean many things that are related to that meaning. One of the meanings is name because when a person’s name is called, he or she would rise and respond.  ALSSAMAWATI are the aboves or what are above, that is the skies or the heavens or any entity from the atmosphere to beyond that.

waalardi: and the earth

Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture.  WA is often translated as an addition (and), but inclusion probably covers the meaning a little better.  In here it plays a role of contrasting two things.  ALARDI is derived from the root Hamza-R-Dhad and it means earth or land.  ALARDI is the earth/ the land.

Wamā: while not

tugh`nī: help/ enrich/ give resource

Note: Tughni is derived from the root Ghain-N-Y and it means freedom from need in any of it’s forms. The word is used to mean rich, because the rich has less needs or no financial need or no need for assistance. MA TUGHNI means does not negate or does not take away or cannot supersede.

l-āyātu: the signs
Note: AYAT is derived from the root Hamza-Y-H and it means sign. ALAYATU means the signs.

wal-nudhuru: and the warnings/ including the warnings

Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture.  WA is often translated as an addition (and), but inclusion probably covers the meaning a little better.  ALNNUTHURU is derived from the root N-TH-R and it means self-conditioned consequence. This means that a person will say that I will do this if this happened or that a person will have a consequence happen to him/her if another event happened. It also carries with it the ability to avoid the consequence if made adjustments.  ALNNUTHUR are the warnings

ʿan: from away from

Qawmin: people

Note: . QAWMIN is derived from the root Qaf-Y-M and it means standing or standing upright. QAWMIN are the people that stand together and that makes the group or people or nation, basically, any group of people that stand together or form a group.

lā yu`minūna: do not attain faith

Note: LA is for negation of the action that follows.  YUMINOON is derived from the root Hamza-M-N Hamza-M-N and it means safe or safety. YUMINOO is an action that is derived from the root and that is completed. It means: the action of making the subject become safe is happening or will be happening. So, it ends up meaning for the term LA liyuminoo: they will not to attain faith.

Salaam all and have a great day
