This is 2:278
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَذَرُواْ مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha watharoo ma baqiya mina alrriba in kuntum mumineena

The Aya says:
O you who made themselves safe (in God and his message), make yourselves conscious of Allah and blow away what remained of the usury if you (plural) happened to be ones who make themselves safe (in God and his message)

My personal note:
The Aya is asking the people who follow the message and feel safe in Allah and in the message to leave what remained of usury and move to other things.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Ya ayyuha: This is a calling. It means O ye
Allatheena: Those who
Amanoo: made themselves safe (in God and his message)
Note: the root is Hamza-M-N and it means safe or safety. AMANOO is an action that is derived from the root and that is completed. It means: the action of making become safe happened by the subject (third person plural) to the object (not mentioned and therefore the subject and the object is the same entity here). So, it ends up meaning: they made themselves safe.
Ittaqoo: Be conscious of/ make yourselves conscious of
Note: the root is W-Qaf-W and it means guarding or protecting. Since the best way to guard is through consciousness, I use the meaning consciousness here. ITTAQOO is an order to perform an action that is addressing a group of people. It means make yourselves conscious of or be conscious of.
Allaha: Allah/God
Watharoo: and blow away
Note: WA means and. THAROO is derived from the root is TH-R-Y and it means in one of the concrete meanings, the wind blowing away something. It is used to mean making something disappear or go away and other related meanings to “the wind blowing away”. THAROO is an order to perform an action that is addressing a group of people. It means: blow away or let go
Ma: What
Baqiya: remained
Note: The root is B-Qaf-Y and it means remaining or what stays. BAQIYA is an action that is completed that is derived from the root. It means: the action of remaining or staying happened by the subject (third person singular pointing to MA=what) to the object (mina that is coming up)
Mina: of/from
Alrriba: the usury/ the demand of more than you give
Note: The root is R-B-Y and it means becoming more than what was. This then means growth and increase in number and quality. ALRIBA is the becoming more in an interactive fashion. This is then taken to mean to give something and demand for more in return. This the Arabic word for Usury.

Kuntum: you (plural) were/ you (plural) happened to be
Note: the root is K-W-N and it means being. KUNTUM is an action that is completed that is derived from the root. It means: the action of being happened by the subject (second person plural). This in turn means: you were or you happened to be
Mumineena: ones who make themselves saf (in God and his message)
Note: the root is Hamza-M-N and it means safe or safety. MUMINEENA are the people who made themselves saf (in God and his message).
