12:45
وَقَالَ الَّذِي نَجَا مِنْهُمَا وَادَّكَرَ
بَعْدَ أُمَّةٍ أَنَا أُنَبِّئُكُم بِتَأْوِيلِهِ فَأَرْسِلُونِ
Waqala allathee naja minhuma waddakara baAAda ummatin ana
unabbi'ukum bita'weelihee fa’arsiloon
The Aya says:
And the one
of the two who was saved said, and he remembered after a while: “I will inform
you of it’s interpretation, so send me”.
My personal
note:
Here it goes
back to the two that sought advice in interpreting dreams from Joseph. This one is the one that was saved and now he
remembered Joseph and so he knew how to get an interpretation for the dream.
Translation
of the transliterated words:
Waqala: and
said/ talked
Note: WA is for initiation of a sentence
that is linked to previous issuese. QALA is derived from the root Qaf-W-L and it means saying in any way possible. QALA is an action
that is completed that is derived from the root. It means the action of saying
happened by the subject (third person plural or singular). This, in turn means:
h said or talked discussed.
Allathee: the one who
Naja:
was safe/ secure/ saved
Note: the
root is N-J-W and it means to come out of a tight
situation or place or otherwise according to the situation. It is used to mean
saving from a bad place but it can mean other things according to the context.
One of the derivatives of the word is NAJWA which means the thing that people
keep tightly held and that is their secret.
NAJA is an action that is completed.
It means: the action of becoming safe or secure happened by the subject
(third person singular)
Minhuma: of
the two of them
Waddakara: and
he remembered
Note: WA here
for continuing the theme. IDDAKARA the
root is TH-K-R and it means mention and remember, at the same time. The
concrete word is something running on the tongue as if speaking it. Another
concrete word is male or the male organ. The relationship between the two is
not very clear and they can be different words that share the sound but have
different root. It could be that the male is considered the active organ and
that memory is an active process, but that is only a theory. IDDAKARA is an action that is completed. It means: the action of remembering happened
by the subject (Third person singular).
baAAda: after
Note: the
root is B-Ain-D and it means further in time or space. In space it means
farther in distance and in time, it means after. BaAADA means after.
Ummatin: a delayed deadline/
period of time
Note: UMMA is derived from the root
Hamza-M-M and it means mother or sources/origin if said as UMM and destination
if said as AMM. UMMA means often times a nation as people with shared origins
or shared goals and direction. In this
context to a delayed deadline as in issues of destination. Basically, a period of time.
Ana: I
unabbi'ukum: inform
you (plural)/ will inform you
Note:
UNABBI’U is derived from the root N-B-Hamza and it
means news. UNABBI’U is an action that
is happening or will be happening. It
means: the action of informing of news or informing is going to happen by the
subject (first person singular) to the object (KUM= plural you).
bita'weelihee: in
its interpretation/ in its conclusion
Note: BI here serves as in or of. TA’WEELI is derived from the root Hamza-W-L
and it means ultimate as a concept and takes different shapes and specific
meanings according to the situation including first and so on. It often takes
the meaning of first because that is the most ultimate. TA’WEELI means
ultimate conclusion/ fate true meaning of.
HI means him and points to the dream
fa’arsiloon: so
send me
Note: FA
means then or therefore or so. ARSILOON
is derived from the root R-S-L and it means
to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and
it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or
senders. ARSILOON is an order or request addressed to a group. It means: Send me.
