12:41

يَا صَاحِبَيِ السِّجْنِ أَمَّا أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِي رَبَّهُ خَمْرًا ۖ وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَيُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ الطَّيْرُ مِن رَّأْسِهِ ۚ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ الَّذِي فِيهِ تَسْتَفْتِيَانِ

Ya sahibayi ssijni amma ahadukuma fayasqee rabbahu khamran wa amma alakharu fayuslabu fata'kulu attairu min ra'sih; qudiya al’amru allathee feehi tastaftiyaan

The Aya says:

O my two companions of the prison, As for one of you then he will pour wine for his master, and as for the other then he will be crucified and the birds will eat from his head.  Settled the matter in which you sought opinion.

My personal note:

He explained to the two his understanding of their dreams and declared to them both that it is going to happen. He did that after having explained to them his religion and theology.  Therefore, subtly inviting them to worship as he does.

Translation of the transliterated words:

Ya: O

ṣāḥibayi: two companions of

Fayuslabu: Then he will be crucified

Note: FA means then or therefore or so. YUSLABU is derived from the root Sad-L-B and it means the back bone in concrete. This is then used conceptually to point to something hard and standing straight and strong. The Arabic word for cross, Saleeb is derived from it as well, because it stands on a standing upright beam. YUSLABU is an action that is happening or will be happening. It means: the action of being crucified will happen to the subject (third person singular) by an undeclared subject.

fata'kulu:  So will eat

Note: Fa means so or therefore or then.  Hamza-K-L and it means eating. This will then take different meanings depending on the different planes of thought that a person has.  TA’KULU is an action that is happening or will be happening.  It means the action of eating is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular or plural)

It points to determination at the beginning and the finishing of it towards the end. The meaning of the word is according to the sentence, sometimes the sentence allows the whole range and at others, part of the range of the meaning. QUDIYA is an action that is completed or concluded by an undeclared subject.  It means: the object (AL AMRU= the matter) was settled/ finalized/ completed by an undeclared subject.

Al’amru: the matter/ the implement

Note: AL’AMRU is derived from the root Hamza-M-R and it means ordering something and the implementation of it.  ALAMRU is the order or the implementation of His or both at the same time.  In this context, it points to the implementation or matter of decision that is coming to being into effect.

Feehi: in it/ in which

Tastaftiyaan: you seek guidance/ opinion/ resolution

Note: the root is F-T-Y and it means in concrete when the youth has just reached maturity. So, it carries the meaning of height of maturity and vigor. Conceptually it is used for youth as well as mature opinions as well as for slaves or servants, because they are generally people who just finished their maturity stages, as they were referred to in early Arabic history.  In this context, it points to opinion, guidance and resolution.  TASTAFTIYAN is an action that is being completed or will be completed.  It means: the action of seeking guidance is happening or will be happening by the subject (Dual form masculine)
