This is 3:14
زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاء وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ذَلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاللّهُ عِندَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ
Zuyyina lilnnasi hubbu alshshahawati mina alnnisai waalbaneena waalqanateeri almuqantarati mina alththahabi waalfiddati waalkhayli almusawwamati waalanAAami waalharthi thalika mataAAu alhayati alddunya waAllahu AAindahu husnu almaabi

The Aya says:
(The) love of strong desires of the women and the children and the big measures in multiples of Gold and Silver and the distinguished horses and the domesticated animals and the crops was made beautified to the people. Those (are) tools for goals of this life, and Allah, at His presence (is), (the) beauty of the return.

My personal note:
This Aya reminds us of the things that we love in this life. It reminds us that they are tools to reach our goals. It also reminds us that the beauty or goodness of the return is with God. That should be our goal.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Zuyyina: was beautified
Note: the root is Z-Y-N and it means what one puts on to add beauty to the look. It is used to cover clothes, jewelry and make up. For the land, it is the grass and the flowers. ZUYYINA is an action that is completed that is derived from the root. It means: the action of beautifying was made to happen by an undeclared subject to the object (HUBB=love that is coming next).
Lilnnasi: to the people
Note: Li means to. ANNAS is derived from the root Hamza-N-S and it means socializing. ANNAS are therefore the society with whom one socializes. It is thus the society or the people.
Hubbu: love of
Note: the root is H-B-B and it means seed in concrete and also love. The two may be related in the fact that the seed is a product of love. HUBBU means love of.
Alshshahawati: the strong desires
Note: the root is SH-H-W and it means strong desire which includes sexual desires and otherwise. ALSHSHAHAWATI are the strong desires.
Mina: of/from
Alnnisai: the women
Note: the word means the women. It has two potential roots that may be related to it. The first N-S-Y and it is the one used for women. This same root is used for the sciatic nerve as a concrete word and for forgetting. The relation between the different meanings is only in an indirect manner. Another root is N-S-Hamza and it means putting things behind in time or space of delaying things. Concrete words are the women that have a delay in the menses because of possibility of pregnancy.
Waalbaneena: and the children
Note: WA means and. ALBANEENA is derived from the root B-N-Y and it means child or son in some of the derivatives and building in another. The two meanings since having children is like building where one builds a family and builds the child to become an adult and so forth. ALBANEENA is plural of BEN and it means the children or the sons (plural masculine and is sex inclusive).
Waalqanateeri: and the big measure
Note: WA means and. ALQANATEERI is derived from QAf-N-TTa-R and it means big bridge or aqueduct. It is also used to mean a big measure of money. ALQANATEERI means the big measures of money of some sort.
Almuqantarati: the big measures in multiples
Note: the root is QAf-N-TTa-R and it means big bridge or aqueduct. It is also used to mean a big measure of money. ALMUQANTARATI means the big measures of money in multiples.
Mina: of/from
Alththahabi: the Gold
Waalfiddati: and the silver
Waalkhayli: and the horses
Almusawwamati: the distinguished
Note: the root S-Y-M and it means in one of the concrete meanings putting the merchandise on display so that the buyers will know it. The word then has many other uses that revolve around showing and making known or distinguished something or putting something on display. ALMUSAWWAMATI means the ones that are put on display or the ones that are nicely marked.
waalanAAami: and the domesticated animals
Note: WA means and. AlANAAaMI is derived from the root N-Ain-M and it means soft and approval as the concept behind the meaning and this concept adopts different meaning according to the sentence. ALANAAaMI are the domesticated animals. They share with the concept that those animals are soft and approving.
Waalharthi: and the crops
Note: WA means and. ALHARTHI is derived fromThe root is Ha-R-TH and it means the work on the land to produce plants and crops. According to the situation, it can mean crops or it can mean agricultural land or all of the above. ALHARTHI here can mean the crops and/or the land of the crops.
Thalika: that
mataAAu: belonging of/ tools to goals of
Note: the root M-T-Ain and it means when the wine becomes very red or when the rope becomes tight. This is the concrete and the abstract gives the meaning of something or someone reaching where it needs to reach within the limits of time, space, etc. MATaAAu is the action of reaching the goals, or the tools of reaching the goals or anything in that process, or any combinations of the three.
Alhayati: the life
Note: the root is Ha-Y-W and it means life or living as the concept and it can mean moving since movement is a sign of life. ALHAYATU is the life.Alddunya: the nearNote: the root is D-N-W and it means nearness or nearing. ALDUNYA means the near. ALHAYATI ALDUNYA means the life, the near in a literal sense and that is usually used to mean this life.
waAllahu: And Allah
AAindahu: At His possession/at His presence
Note: AAiNDA means at, but carries the meaning of at, or at presence of or at possession of according to the situation. AAiNDA here means at possession of. HU means him and it points to God.
Husnu: beauty of
Note: the root is Ha-S-N and it means beauty in all the angles of thought of beauty. HUSNU means beauty of.
Almaabi: The return
Note: the root is Hamza-W-B and it means return. ALMAAABI is the place or time of return and it can be understood as the return.
