This is 2:130
وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلاَّ مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ وَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Waman yarghabu AAan millati ibraheemailla man safiha nafsahu walaqadi istafaynahufee alddunya wa-innahu fee al-akhiratilamina alssaliheena
The Aya says:
And whoever desires away from the way of Abraham except whoever arrived at lowering his self’s weight?! And WE (GOD) made him (Abraham) filtered for US in the nearer, and he is, in the remaining, of the ones that arrive at benefit.
My personal note:
The Aya talks about the ones that lowered their weight by refusing Abraham’s weight. The weight here is encompassing, however the mental and spiritual weight come to mind for the decision is considered very wrong.
The filtering of Abraham means that he was purified, cleansed and chosen at the same time in an abstract sense.
The nearer and the remaining are two words that are used to mean this life and the next.
Translation of the transliterated words:
Waman: And who/whoever
Yarghabu: Desires/wants
Note: the root is R-GH-B and it means desire or wanting. YARGHAB is the third person singular present or future tense that means desires or arrives at desire.

Millati: Way of/Road of
Note: the root is M-L-L and it means repetition of something so many times that it can become boring. MILLA is what is repeated so many times and it means the rood or way since it is stepped on so many times. Ti mean of.
Ibraheema: Abraham
Illa: Except
Man: Who
Safiha: arrived at lowering weight /arrived at low weight
Note: the root is S-F-H and it means low weight in all it’s aspects as in spiritually, mentally and physically. For the verb it means arrive at low weight or become low weight. Often times, it is used to mean the lower mental weight. SAFIHA means arrived at lowering weight or at low weight.
Nafsahu: himself
Note: the root is N-F-S and it means self. NAFS means self. HU means him
Walaqadi: And with some stress
Istafaynahu: filtered him for US
Note: the root is Sad-F-W and it means filtered and clear or passed through a filter. ISTAFA is the first person plural past tense of a verb that is derived of this root and that means made filtered. YNAHU means WE and him so the ISTAFAYNAHU means we made him filtered for US. The US is GOD and Filtered in abstract means cleansed and extracted and chosen at the same time.

Note: the root is D-N-W and it means nearness for the noun. The verb means to become near or to arrive at nearness. ALDDUNYA is the near or the nearer. This nearness can be in time, place, closeness to earth and that means lower or in affinity. The nearer hear is the life that we are living for it is near to us in time and to our hearts.
wa-innahu: And he is
Note: the He here is for Abraham

al-akhirati: The remaining
Note: the root is Hamza-KH-R and it means remainder or remaining. This means the staying later and also the coming after. AL-AKHIRATI means the remaining which is often used to mean the remaining life.
Lamina: of (with stress)
Alssaliheena: The ones that arrive at benefit
Note: the root is Sad-L-Ha and it means benefit and is used to mean fix what is broken and reconciliation. The verb means to arrive at benefit and that means both to become beneficial and at times to benefit for oneself. ALSALIHEEN are the ones that arrive at benefit to themselves and to others.
