مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَلاَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَن يَشَآءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
Ma yawaddu allatheena kafaroomin ahli alkitabi wala almushrikeena an yunazzalaAAalaykum min khayrin min rabbikum waAllahu yakhtassubirahmatihi man yashao waAllahu thooalfadli alAAatheemi

The Aya says:
The ones that covered (their minds to GOD) of the people of the book (or the process of writing) do not like that arrives on you of goodness from your nurturer nor do the ones that make partners (to GOD). And the GOD singles by his womb like mercy whoever he wants and the GOD is the one with the great ampleness of good.

My personal note:
This Aya reminds us that we really should not worry what others want us to have or not from GOD. For GOD is the source and he gives of his ample goodness to whoever he chooses. GOD is the one with the great bounty of goodness.

Translation of transliterated words:
Ma yawaddu: Will not love/like
Note: Ma means not or will not depending on the position in the sentence. YAWADDU is derived from the root W-D-D and it means to love/like and love or liking for the noun. YAWADDU is the third person singular present tense of the verb.

Alkitabi: The book/the process of writing
Note: the root is K-T-B and it means to write. ALKITAB means the book and anything related to the writing (of the message of GOD) therefore the process of writing.
wala almushrikeena: And not the ones that make partners (To GOD)
Note: WALA means and not. ALMUSHRIKEEN is derived of the root SH-R-K and it means to become partner. ALMUSHRIKEEN is a noun that is derived from the root and means the ones that make partners and here they make partners to GOD.
an yunazzala: That is made to arrive
Note: AN means that. YUNAZZALA is derived from the root N-Z-L and it means to arrive. YUNAZZAL is a verb that is derived from the root that means is made to arrive.

Khayrin: goodness/Choice (with the understanding that it is good.)
Note: the root is KH-Y-R and it means to make choice or to give choice. KHAYR is the noun and it means CHOICE and that is understood as the good choice.

Note: the root is KH-Sad-Sad and it means to singled out /to chose one. YAKHTASSU is the third person singular present tense of a verb that is derived of the root. This verb means makes singled out.
Birahmatihi: With his womb like mercy
