This is 2:120
وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَآءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ
Walan tarda AAanka alyahoodu walaalnnasara hatta tattabiAAamillatahum qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhudawala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda allathee jaakamina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin walanaseerin

The Aya says:
And the Jews and Christians will not accept you (Muhammad) happily until you (Muhammad) follow their way. Say: Verily, God’s gift of guidance is the gift of guidance. And if you (Muhammad) followed their empty desires after what came to you of knowledge, then you will not have from the GOD of director (who is also close) nor a helper at a time of need.

My personal note:
The AYA says that to each is his own way. The message is to Muhammad and also to all that follow his way that the way of GOD is the way and not the way of our empty desires. GOD is the source of the gift of guidance. He is also the only one whose direction we follow and who is also close to us. GOD is also the helper in the time of need.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Walan: And never
Tarda: Will accept happily
Note: the root is R-DHad-Y and it means to accept happily (someone or something). TARDA is the third person singular or plural present tense of the verb.
AAanka: About you (singular masculine)/you
Note: the you is singular masculine
Alyahoodu: The Jews
Walaalnnasara: The Christians
Hatta: untill
tattabiAAa: You follow/you make yourself follow.
Note: the root is T-B-Ain and it means to follow. TATTABIAAa is the second person singular present or future tense of a verb that is derived of the root. The meaning of this verb means make yourself follow, therefore it means follow
Millatahum: their way
Note: the root is M-L-L and it means to repeat something many times that you become bored with it. MILLA is a word that is derived from this root. It means the way and used in religious terms as the way of the religion. It’s relation to the root is because this way has been followed so many times. HUM means their
Qul: Say
Note: the root is Qaf-W-L and it means to say. QUL is an order form of the verb addressing a single individual.
inna huda: Verily, Gift of guidance of
Note: INNA is a term that is used to stress a point. HUDA is derived from the root H-D-Y and it means to gift someone for the verb and gift for the noun. HUDA is derived from the root and it means gift of guiodance. It can also mean guidance on it’s own.
Allahi: The GOD
Huwa: He is
Note: the HE is pointing to a masculine word and that masculine word is HUDA.
Alhuda: The gift of guidance
Note: this is the same root as HUDA.
wala-ini: And if
ittabaAAta: You followed/you made yourself follow
Note: the root is T-B-Ain and it means to follow. ITTABaAATA is the second person singular past tense of a verb that is derived from the root. This verb means Made yourself follow or follow.
Ahwaahum: Their airs (empty desires).
Note: the root is H-W-Y and it means what is between the earth and the sky and that is air and emptiness for the Arabs. AHWAA is the plural for this word and it means Airs for concrete and this can mean their empty atmospheres or desires
baAAda: After
Note: the root is B-Ain-D and it means to become farther in space or time (which means after of later). BaAADA means later or after here.
Allathee: That
Jaaka: Came to you
Note: the root is J-Y-Hamza and it means to com. JAA is the third person singular or plural past tense of the verb. KA means to you (singular masculine)
Mina: Of/from
alAAilmi: The knowledge
Note: the root is Ain-L-M and it means to know. ALAAiLMI is a noun and it means the knowledge.
ma laka: Not for you
mina: From/of
Allahi: The GOD
Min: Of/from
Waliyyin: One to follow direction of (who is also close)
Note: the root is W-L-Y and it means to direct or to follow direction depending on the situation in the sentence. WALIYY is the person that you direct or follow direction of or both and who is generally close in friendship, trust and so forth.
Wala: And not
Naseerin: Helper in time of need
Note: the root is N-Sad-R and it means to help/aid at a time of need. NASEER is the person that helps and aids at the time of need.
