يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُواْ مِمَّا فِي الأَرْضِ حَلاَلاً طَيِّباً وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
Ya ayyuha annasu kuloo mimma fee alardi halalan tayyiban wala tattabiAAoo khutuwati ashshaytani innahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeen
The Aya says:
O People, eat of what is approved in the land, purified goodness. And do not make yourselves follow the footsteps of Satan (the one that moves you out of your natural place). Verily, he (Satan), is an enemy to you, making clear (his animosity)
My personal note:
The Aya reminds us that what is approved in the land is purified goodness. Here, also Satan is defined as the one that moves us out of our natural place which is in harmony with GOD. Satan made clear his animosity to us.
Translation of the transliterated words:
Ya ayyuha: O Ye
Note: this is a calling form of the language
Annasu: The people/the society
Note: the root is Hamza-N-S and it means socializing. ANNASU are the people that socialize and it means the society or the people in general because the people are the ones that one socializes with.
Kuloo: Eat
Note: the root is Hamza-K-L and it means eating. KULOO is an order form of a verb that is derived from the root. This verb means, literally, arrive eating and that means eat.
Mimma: Of what

Alardi: The land/the earth
Note: the root is Hamza-R-Dha and it means land. ALARDI is the land or the earth.
Halalan: approved/allowed
Note: the root is Ha-L-L and it means in concrete arriving at solution to a problem or a place to stay or so forth. HALAL is what makes one arrive at those issues and that is the approval of doing it or the allowing to reach this solution.
Tayyiban: purified Good/concentrated good.
Note: the root is Ta-Y-B and it means perfume or the juice of fruit or so forth. This is the concrete and it means purified goodness for the abstract.
Wala: And not
tattabiAAoo: make yourselves follow
Note: the root is T-B-Ain and it means following footsteps. TATTABiAAoo is the saecond person plural present or future tense of a verb that is derived from the root. This verb means make selves arrive at following footsteps. This is the literal meaning and it actually means make yourselves follow
Khutuwati: steps/footsteps
Note: the root is KH-Ta-W and it means stepping in steps or walking. KHUTUWATI is the plural of step and therefore it means steps or footsteps
Ashshaytani: Satan/the one that takes one out of place
Note: the root is SH-Ta-N and it means the long rope at the well that is used to get the bucket out of the water. This is the concrete and in abstract, it means the one that was long tentacles and moves people or things out of their natural place. ASHAYTAN is the one that does that the most and that is Satan.
Innahu: Verily he
Lakum: to you (plural you)
AAaduwwun: enemy
Note: the root is Ain-D-W and it means running or overstepping the boundary of walking and so forth. AAaDUWWUN is the one that oversteps the boundaries of another person and that is the enemy.
Mubeen: making clear (his animosity)
Note: the root is B-Y-N and it means between. This is the concrete and in abstract it means distance, death and clarifying the difference between two things. MUBEEN means the person or thing that makes between in a literal way. This in turn means makes clear whatever he/she wants to make clear.
