Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo in tattaqoo Allaha yajAAal lakum furqanan wayukaffir AAankum sayyiatikum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi
The Aya says:
O you who attained faith if you act consciously of Allah then He will make for you a differentiator and atones for you your sins and protectively cover you. And Allah is the one with the great favor.
My personal note:
The Aya brings about a very important theme and that is if we work and act while conscious of Allah then Allah will help us get guided to the right decisions and this will make us move in greater consciousness of Allah and that in turn will give us more insight and wisdom in making decision in a process that is self-propagating and self-sustaining and that ends in the faithful the strongest possible relationship with Allah and that is the point about Iman. May Allah increase our Iman and help us in all those steps that bring us closer to Him always.

Oh you who attained faith do not betray Allah and the messenger and do not betray your safe keeps while you know.
My personal note:
In this is a very important message that the believers have to remain non treacherous to Allah nor to the messenger nor to any other person that entrusted them with something. In a sense maintaining the religion as it should be is a safe keep but we are also by this Aya obligated to safe keep everything else that we promised to keep safe.

And remember you (plural) were few, weak in the land fearing that the people will snatch you, So He gave you shelter and gave you a hand with His help and provided you of the good things, perhaps you will be thankful.

The Aya explains to the muslims the help and aid that Allah had provided them and it compares their situation at that time from when they started when they were few and weak and vulnerable. We always have to be thankful for the blessings of Allah.

وَاتَّقُواْ فِتْنَةً لاَّ تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمْ خَآصَّةً وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
Waittaqoo fitnatan la tuseebanna allatheena thalamoo minkum khassatan waiAAlamoo anna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi
The Aya says:
And protect yourselves against a trial that will not hit the ones who are unjust amongst you alone. And be aware that Allah is severe in the punishment.
My personal note:
This is a message that a society has a responsibility to limit the injustice within it because God’s punishment for injustice will not be limited for the unjust but it will touch as well those who tolerated it and did not raise their voice against it. Therefore it is a societal obligation to try to stem injustice within our roles and abilities in our societies.
Translation of the transliterated words:
Waittaqoo: and beware/ and be conscious of/ and act consciously of
Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after.
