2:155

Salaam all,

This is 2:155
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوفْ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الأَمَوَالِ وَالأنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ

Walanabluwannakum bishayin mina alkhawfi waljooAAi wanaqsin mina alamwali walanfusi waththamarati wabashshiri assabireen

The Aya says:
And WE will test you with an entity of fear and hunger and deficiency of money, people and fruits, and inform the people of patience about good news.

My personal note:
Patience is shown to be very important here. This is also important because it shows that suffering is not always a punishment from GOD. It can be a test as well.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Walanabluwannakum: And WE will test you (plural)
Note: WA means And. LANABLUWANNAKUM is derived from the root B-L-W and it means test. A concrete word related to it is used for a dress that was worn and therefore was tested and used. LANABLUWANNAKUM is the first person plural present or future tense of a verb that is derived from the root. This verb means literally WE will make you arrive at test. This means WE will test you with the YOU being plural.
bishayin: By entity
Note: Bi means by or in. SHAYIN is derived from the root SH-Y-Hamza. This root means Entity or something. SHAYIN is an entity or something.
mina: Of/from
alkhawfi: Fear/fearing
Note: the root is KH-W-F and it means fearing or fear. ALKHAWF means the fear.
waljooAAi: And the hunger
Note: WA means And. ALJOOOAAi is derived from the root J-W-Ain and it means hunger. ALJUUAAi is the hunger.
Wanaqsin: And deficiency
Note: WA means and. NAQSIN is derived from the root N-Qaf-Sad and it means deficiency or lacking something or someone. NAQSIN deficiency or missing something
Mina: of/from
Alamwali: The money/resources
Note: the root is M-W-L and it means gold and silver that is owned by someone and that means money. The meaning is extended to mean anything that a person owns. ALAMWAL means the money.
Walanfusi: And selves/and people
Note: WA means and. ALANFUS is derived from the root N-F-S and it means breath for concrete. It is also used to mean Self because the self breathes. Here it is used to mean people because they breathe.
Waththamarati: And the fruits
Note: WA means and. ATHTHAMARAT is derived from the root TH-M-R and it means fruit or fruiting. Here fruit stands for anything that bears fruit of any kind. ATHTHAMARAT is the plural of fruits.
Wabashshiri: And inform of good news/inform good tidings
Note: WA means And. BASHSHIRI is derived from the root B-SH-R and it means the outer beautiful skin for the concrete. This also means beauty and it means good news as well because the look of the beautiful outer skin is like good news. BASHSHIR is an order form of a verb addressed to an individual that is derived from the root. Literally it means Make arrive good news/tidings. Here it means inform of good news/tidings.
Assabireen: The patient people/people with patience
Note: the root is Sad-B-R and it means patience in abstract. In concrete it means prison therefore in abstract it means imprisoning our suffering. ASSABIREEN are the patient people.

Salaam all and have a great day
