this is 3:13
قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ آيَةٌ فِي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَا فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَأُخْرَى كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُم مِّثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ وَاللّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَن يَشَاء إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لَّأُوْلِي الأَبْصَارِ
Qad kana lakum ayatun fee fiatayni iltaqata fiatun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahi waokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim raya alAAayni waAllahu yuayyidu binasrihi man yashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan liolee alabsari

The Aya says:
There happened to be a sign for you (plural) in two groups who met. One fights in the way of Allah and another rejecting. They (the one rejecting) see them (the first group) double their size, vision of the eye. Allah makes supported, with his aid, whoever He entities. In that, (is) a tool of insight to (the) people of insight.

My personal note:
This Aya is a reminder that Allah supports the people that are on his path. He supports them in ways they recognize and others they do not recognize. This is a message to God’s people to always feel safe in Him and by Him and with Him, which is the meaning of the word Iman.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Qad: there/it
Note: this is a starter of a sentence that puts some emphasis on what comes next.
Kana: happened to be/ was
Note: the root is K-W-N and it means being. KANA is an action that is completed that is derived from the root. It means: the action of being happened by the subject (third personal singular). This in turn means: he were or he happened to be
Lakum: to you (plural)/for you (plural)
Ayatun: A sign
Note: the root is Hamza-Y-H and it means sign. AYATUN means a sign.
Fee: in
Fiatayni: two groups
Note: the root is F-Hamza-W and it means dividing or separating tow different portions of groups. FIATAYNI means two groups.
Iltaqata: they met each other/ they received each other.
Note: the root is L-Qaf-Y and it means receiving as a concept which would be understood more specifically according to the sentence. Concrete uses of the word are a female that gets pregnant easily, therefore she received the sperm well. It is also used for the birds that hunt because they receive the prey easily and so forth. ILTAQATA is an action that is completed that is derived from the root. It means: the action of receiving happened by the subject (dual form feminine pointing to Fiatayni= two groups) to itself. This in turn means: the two groups met or received each other.
Fiatun: a group
Note: the root is F-Hamza-W and it means dividing or separating tow different portions of groups. FIATUN means a groups.
Tuqatilu: she fights
Note: the root is Qaf-T-L and it means killing or acts that can lead to death of another person or group. TUQATILU is an action that is derived from the root that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of engaging in an act that may lead to death is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular pointing to FIATUN= a group) in an interactive fashion. This then means: She fights.

Sabeeli: path of/flow of
Note: the root is S-B-L and it means flowing water from the falling rain from the sky to the flowing water in the river and so forth. This is the concrete and the other uses are related. Those other uses include path, which allows the flow, to soft flowing hair and so forth. SABEELI is the flowing water or the path. The path has some of the property of the flowing water, as in smoothly going, but also that nearly nothing can stand in it’s way, as nothing stands in the way of the water.
Allahi: Allah
Waokhra: and another/ and remaining one
Note: WA means and. OKHRA is derived from the root is Hamza-KH-R and it means remaining. This word also, according to the sentence, will take other meanings as the other, the last and so forth. OKHRA means remaining one or another and it is a word pointing to remaining group of the two that were mentioned earlier.
Kafiratun: rejecter
Note: the root is K-F-R and it means burying the seed in the ground for planting. It is used to mean rejection of an idea because that means covering the brain in the ground from the idea or covering the idea so that it is not known or seen. KAFIRATUN is a singular feminine word that means one who rejects. It is in the feminine form because it points to feminine word OKHRA.
Yarawnahum: they view them
Note: the root is R-Hamza-Y and it means vision as a concept that can extend to point of view and ideas and so forth in addition to actual vision. YARAWNA is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of viewing is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person plural pointing to people in the rejecting group) to the object HUM which means them (pointing to the believing group).
Mithlayhim: double their size
Note: the root is M-TH-L and it means similitude as a concept. MITHLAYHIM means two similitudes of them. This in turn means double their size.
Raya: vision of
Note: the root is R-Hamza-Y and it means vision as a concept that can extend to point of view and ideas and so forth in addition to actual vision. RAYA means vision of.
alAAayni: the eye
Note: the root is Ain-Y-N and it means eye and water spring in the concrete. It could be that both are related in the fact that they have water oozing out of them. ALAAaYNI means the eye.
waAllahu: And Allah
yuayyidu: Strengthens/ supports
Note: the root is Hamza-Y-D and it means strength and power. YUAYYIDU is an action that is derived from the root. It means: the action making strengthened happened by the subject (third person singular pointing to Allah) to the object MAN= whoever.
Binasrihi: by/in His aid
Note: Bi suggests that what comes after it is either an association with the action, a tool of the action or an object of the action or any combination of the three. If bi serves as an object of the action that it serves as an emphasis of the action. Here, it is more of a tool or an association. NASRIHI is derived from the root the root N-Sad-R and it means aid or help at a time of need. NASRI means aid or support of. HI means him and it points to God.
Man: whoever
Yashao: He entities
Note: the root is SH-Y-Hamza and it means entity for noun and to entity for the action. This means making a non entity entity, which also means making what was impossible possible, or what was non existent, existent or what was un-allowed allowed, and so forth. YASHAO is an action that is related to the root. It means: The entity is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular and points to God). The entity in this place is the people receiving God’s aid.

laAAibratan: A tool of insight
Note: L is for stressing what comes next. AAiBRATAN is derived from the root Ain-B-R and it means Passover or crossover or pass through. This can be understood according to the plane of thought of the sentence. It can mean crossing a river. It also can mean understanding the point as in crossing from point A to point B in thought and so forth. AAiBRATUN is a tool for crossing over and I translated here as a tool of insight.
Liolee: To people of
Alabsari: the sight/ the insight
Note: the root is B-Sad-R and it is the sense of the eye. It also has the meaning of seeing deeply. Seeing deeply means the concrete, but it can be applied to the deep vision of the brain, the insight. ALABSARI means the sights or the insight in here.
