That is a group that passed, to her what she collected of provisions and to you what you collected, and you will not be enquired about what they were doing.
My personal note:
This Ays tells us that the people that passed give us the story so that we learn from it, yet their issues and business is theirs and ours is ours. We will not be asked about what they were doing and they will not be asked about us. All will have to work on what they collect of provisions with the understanding that the provisions are physical, spiritual and mental at the same time.

This Aya reinforces that the GOD of the muslims is the same GOD of the Christians and the Jews. Also that one of the jobs of the muslim is to disentangle purity and truth everywhere for the sake of GOD.

So, if they felt safe in similar to what you felt safe in, then they were arrived at gift of guidance. And if they followed other direction then they are in active fissuring. Therefore, the GOD will meet their challenge for you, and HE is the all hearing, the all knowing.

The Aya continues the theme of the previous Aya. It mentions that the people that feel safe in what was mentioned in Aya 2:136 through faith and otherwise then they have arrived at guidance. Otherwise they are in a fissure that is active. GOD also says that he will meet the challenge of the people that feel differently. Our job is to share with the people what we believe and feel safe in, and the rest is on GOD.

My personal note:
The word HANIF is very important and very difficult to translate. It comes from the person that has the foot tilted so that the sole is not the one that touches the ground and is exposed. It could be that the HANIF is the one that exposed a place of oneself that is usually not exposed. Therefore, my understanding of the word is exposure and transparency. This exposure means that his message is clear and that his inside is clear to GOD and to fellow man and that he did not keep any secrets.

This Ays tells us that the people that passed give us the story so that we learn from it, yet their issues and business is theirs and ours is ours. That is an interesting thing that Ishamel was mentioned as part of the fathers of Jacob. This means that Islam is not a divorce between the two family trees, but that the two family trees (hudeo-christianity and Islam) are interconnected and more related.

That is an interesting thing that Ishamel was mentioned as part of the fathers of Jacob. This means that Islam is not a divorce between the two family trees, but that the two family trees (hudeo-christianity and Islam) are interconnected and more related.

Al DEEN which is usually translated as religion is actually an obligation and that is the obligation of man towards GOD.

The Aya says:
And whoever desires away from the way of Abraham except whoever arrived at lowering his self’s weight?! And WE (GOD) made him (Abraham) filtered for US in the nearer, and he is, in the remaining, of the ones that arrive at benefit.
My personal note:
The Aya talks about the ones that lowered their weight by refusing Abraham’s weight. The weight here is encompassing, however the mental and spiritual weight come to mind for the decision is considered very wrong.
The filtering of Abraham means that he was purified, cleansed and chosen at the same time in an abstract sense.
The nearer and the remaining are two words that are used to mean this life and the next.

In here I used the meaning of the ALKITAB as the book. However, it can be understood as the process of writing including the ideas that are behind the book, as well as the writing of books themselves that are derived from what they learn.

My personal note:
In here I used the meaning of the ALKITAB as the book. However, it can be understood as the process of writing including the ideas that are behind the book, as well as the writing of books themselves that are derived from what they learn.
Also, ALHIKMATA is usually defined as wisdom. However, wisdom, according to Lisan AL ARAB means the way to arrive at the best judgement and result.

وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْناً وَاتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ
السُّجودِ
Waith jaAAalna albayta mathabatan lilnnasi waamnan waittakhithoo min maqami ibraheema musallan waAAahidna ila ibraheema waismaAAeela an tahhira baytiya lilttaifeena waalAAakifeena waalrrukkaAAi alssujoodi
The Aya says:
And WE made the shelter a place of filling and refilling (with good) to the people, and take of the standing place of Abraham for prayer. And WE arrived promise at Abraham and Ishmael that cleanse MY shelter to the orbiters and the stayers and the bowers, the prostrators (the ones that lower their heads as a sign of submission)

The Aya talks about the BAYT which is understood as the house but is closer to a place of shelter. It is understood that the house here is the house in Mekka where people go for pilgrimage.
