يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوَءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَاللّهُ رَؤُوفُ بِالْعِبَادِ
Yawma tajidu kullu nafsin ma AAamilat min khayrin muhdaran wama AAamilat min sooin tawaddu law anna baynaha wabaynahu amadan baAAeedan wayuhaththirukumu Allahu nafsahu waAllahu raoofun bialAAibadi

The Aya says:
(The) day when each self will find that what she did of good deed being presented, and what she did of ugly deed. She wishes that (there is) between her and him (the ugly deed) a far extent. And Allah makes you aware of his danger. And Allah is compassionate to the slaves.

My personal note:
The Aya reminds us that we will find all what we do of good and bad on the Day of judgement. It reminds us that we will wish that our bad deeds are as far as they can be from us. The Aya again makes us aware of the danger of forgetting God and his orders, as it also assures us of God’s kindness and compassion towards us.

This is again a reminder not to take God for granted and to always work on the love of God combined with awareness of the danger of ignoring him and the awareness of his compassion and kindness and love towards us.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Yawma: Day when/ time when
Note: the root is Y-W-M and it means day or a complete day and night cycle. YAWMA means day of or day when.
Tajidu: She finds
Note: the root is W-J-D and it means in one concrete meaning the water that has accumulated in the desert on rocky grounds and therefore the water is clear and inviting. This is then used to mean a find that is really important. TAJIDU is an action that is derived from the root. It means: the action of finding is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular pointing to Kull= every/each) to the object (MA=what that is coming up).
Kullu: Every/each
Note: the root is K-L-L and it means the parts put together. This is the concrete and it means all or every, or each or all.
Nafsin: Self
Note: NAFS means a self. It is a derivative of the root N-F-S and it means to breath. NAFSIN is a noun that is derived from this root and it means SELF.
Ma: what
AAamilat: She did/ she worked
Note: the root is Ain-M-L and it means work or doing. AAamilat is an action that is completed. It means: the action of making or doing happened by the subject (third person singular feminine pointing to Nasfin=self)
Min: of/from
Khayrin: good/choice/ good choice
Note: the root KH-Y-R and it means choice and good at the same time as the concept. Sometimes it means good or better or best, and in others it would be the choice. Most of the time the meaning mixes the choice and the goodness together and this is determined by the plane of thought of the sentence. KHAYRIN means good or choice or the mix of the two.
Muhdaran: made staying/ made continuingly present.
Note: the root is ha-dhad-r and it means in one of the concrete meanings of city or village. This is then extended to the concept of the continuing presence, or continuing appearance. MUHDARAN means: was made staying/ was made continuingly present. I chose the meaning being presented.
Wama: and what
AAamilat: she did/ she worked
Note: the root is Ain-M-L and it means work or doing. AAamilat is an action that is completed. It means: the action of making or doing happened by the subject (third person singular feminine pointing to Nasfin=self)
Min: of/ from
Sooin: ugly deed/ hated deed
Note: the root is S-Y-Hamza and it means hated word or deed. It can also mean ugly or vulnerable. All the meanings are linked somehow by one concept. This word then means different things according to the plane of thought that is being talked about. SOOIN is the ugly or hated deed.
Tawaddu: she loves/ she wished
Note: the root is W-D-D and it means proper love or pure strong love. This means that this love is correct and strong in all it’s angles and not placed in the wrong place. TAWADDU is an action that is being completed or will be completed that is derived from the root. It means: the action of pure strong love is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular feminine pointing to Nafsin=self) to the object LAW=if.

Note: the her points to Nafsin which means self.
Wabaynahu: and between him
Amadan: extent
Note: the root is Hamza-M-D and it means extent or the range of extent in time or space or any plane of thought. AMADAN means extent.
baAAeedan: far
Note: the root is b-ain-d and it means further in time or space. in space it means farther in distance and in time, it means after. BaAAeeDAN means far according to the plane of thought.
Wayuhaththirukumu: And He makes you aware of danger of
Note: WA means and. YUHATHTHIRUKUMU is derived from the root Ha-TH-R and it means fear or consciousness of danger. YUHATHTHIRU is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of making the object (KUMU= plural you) aware of danger is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular pointing to Allah and coming up).
Allahu: Allah
Nafsahu: Himself
Note: NAFS means a self. It is a derivative of the root N-F-S and it means to breath. NAFSA is a noun that is derived from this root and it means SELF of. HU means him. This word is another object of the action YUHATHTHIRKUMU and makes the statement means: and Allah makes you conscious of danger of Himself or of His danger.
waAllahu: and Allah
raoofun: kind/ compassionate
Note: the root is R-Hamza-F and it means mercy with softness or kindness or love. RAOOFUN means kind and compassionate because of that additional softness to the mercy component.
bialAAibadi: by the servants/ by the slaves/ to the slaves
Note: Bi suggests that what comes after it is either an association with the action, a tool of the action or an object of the action or any combination of the three. If bi serves as an object of the action that it serves as an emphasis of the action. ALAAiBAD is derived from the root Ain-B-D and it means slave or servant. ALAAiBAD is the plural of slave or servant.
