8:46

Salaam all,

8:46
وَأَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلاَ تَنَازَعُواْ فَتَفْشَلُواْ وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ وَاصْبِرُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

WaateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu wala tanazaAAoo fatafshaloo watathhaba reehukum waisbiroo inna Allaha maAAa alssabireena
The Aya says:
And obey Allah and His messenger and do not have discord then you feel and you lose your vigor and be deliberate/ self-restrained. Indeed, Allah supports the self- restrained.
My personal note:

I translated the term Sabireen as seliberate and that is in my understanding the term Sabireen applies to those who are not reactionary and are deliberate in their actions. Therefore their actions are not a product of a reaction but they occur after deliberation and study and self restraint.
Translation of the transliterated words:
waateeAAoo: and obey
Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture. WA is often translated as an addition (and), but inclusion probably covers the meaning a little better. ATeeAAoo is derived from the root TTa-W-Ain and it means willing compliance or obeying willingly. ATeeAAoo is an order or a request that is addressing a group of people. It means: obey willingly or comply willingly, or just obey.

Allaha: Allah
Warasoolahu: and His messenger/ His envoy
Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture. WA is often translated as an addition (and), but inclusion probably covers the meaning a little better. RASOOLAHU is derived from the root R-S-L and it means to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or senders. RUSULUN means messengers of and is the plural of RASOOL who is the one that is sent and is used to mean the messenger because he was sent by the sender to the receiver. RASOOLA means envoy or messenger of. HU means him and points to Allah
Wala: and do not
tanazaAAoo: have discord/ pull away from each other
Note: The root is N-Z-Ain and it means pulling of an entity from it’s place or just pulling. WALA TANAZaAAoo is an order or demand addressing a group not to have discord and pull away from each other
Fatafshaloo: then you (plural) fail
Note: FA means then or therefore or so. TAFSHALOO is derived from the root -SH-L and it means weakness and lack of courage and fear. Conceptually, it carries the meaning of inability to stand to a challenge and failure. TAFSHALOO is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of failure and not withstanding challenges is happening or will be happening by the subject (second person plural)
Watathhaba: and goes away/ and leaves/ and disappears
Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture. WA is often translated as an addition (and), but inclusion probably covers the meaning a little better. TATHHABA is derived from the root TH-H-B and it means gold. One of the derivatives of the root also means going and it is not clear what the relationship between the two meanings are. TATHHABA is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of going away or disappearing and leaving is happening by the subject (third person singular)
Reehukum: your wind/ your vigor/ your breath
Note: from the root is R-Y-Ha and it means breath or breeze. Conceptually, it is used for vigor and life and so on. REEHUKUM means: your wind/ your breath and your vigor
Waisbiroo: and be self-restrained/ and be deliberate
Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture. WA is often translated as an addition (and), but inclusion probably covers the meaning a little better. ISBIROO is derived from the root Sad-B-R and it means jail or prison. The word is used to mean patience and restraint at the same time, since both are about imprisoning our negative emotions, thoughts, and the push to act uninhibited. ISBIROO is an order or a request addressing a group. It means: be patient/ be self restrained/ be deliberate in your words or actions.
Inna: indeed
Allaha: Allah
maAAa: with/ supports
alssabireena: the patient/ the self restrained/ the deliberate
note: the root is Sad-B-R and it means jail or prison. The word is used to mean patience and restraint at the same time, since both are about imprisoning our negative emotions, thoughts, and the push to act uninhibited. ALSSABIREEN are the ones who are self restrained or deliberate in their words and actions.

Salaam all and have a great day

Hussein
