This is 2:96
وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَى حَيَاةٍ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ
Walatajidannahum ahrasa alnnasiAAala hayatin wamina allatheenaashrakoo yawaddu ahaduhum law yuAAammaru alfa sanatin wamahuwa bimuzahzihihi mina alAAathabi anyuAAammara waAllahu baseerun bimayaAAmaloona

Note:
The Aya says “and you will find them wanting most strongly and most carefully of the people on life, and of the ones that made partners (to GOD) loves one of them if he is made to live a thousand years, and that is not moving him away from the suffering that he lives the length. And the GOD views very well of what they do”

My personal note:
The Aya says that many of the people that claim that they are going to heaven wish that they live a thousand years, however this length will not move them away from the suffering. The AYA then reiterates that GOD is knowledgeable of what all do.

This is a reminder yet again that we should not claim on GOD what is not true and that we should always be conscious that GOD sees all

Translation of the transliterated words:
Walatajidannahum: And you will find them (with stress)
Note: WA means And. LATAJIDANNAHUM is derived from the root W-J-D and it means to find for the verb. The noun gives the concrete meaning and that is a pool where rain water accumulated which is considered a wealth for the arabs in the desert., therefore the abstract means wealth. LATAJIDANNA is the second person singular present tense of a verb that is derived from the root and that means you will find (with some stress). HUM means them.
Ahrasa: wanting more strongly and more carefully
Note: the root is Ha-R-Sad and it means to want something strongly and carefully. AHRASA means to want something more strongly and more carefully.
Alnnasi: The people
Note: the root is Hamza-N-S and it means to socialize. ALNASS are the people because they are the ones that you socialize with.
AAala: On
Hayatin: life
Note: the root is Ha-Y-W and it means to become alive for the verb and life for the noun. HAYATIN means life.
Wamina: And from
Allatheena: Those that
Ashrakoo: made partners
Note: the root is SH-R-K and it means to partner for the verb and partnership for the noun. ASHRAKOO is the third person plural past tense of a verb that is derived from the root. This verb means make partner. This come often and is considered partnership to GOD.
Yawaddu: Loves
Note: the root is W-D-D and it means to love. YAWADDU is the third person singular present tense of the verb.
Ahaduhum: One of them
Note: the root is W-H-D and it means to become one. AHADU means one. HUM means them.
Law: that /if

Note: the root is Ain-M-R and it means to become alive for some length of time. The concrete word is AAUMR and it means age or length of life. YUAAMMARU is the third person singular form of a verb that means to be made live length of.
