This is 3:144
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلاَّ رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِن مَّاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَمَن يَنقَلِبْ عَلَىَ عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَن يَضُرَّ اللّهَ شَيْئًا وَسَيَجْزِي اللّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ
Wama muhammadun illa rasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu afain mata aw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum waman yanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allaha shayan wasayajzee Allahu alshshakireena

The Aya says:
And Muhammad is but an envoy. The envoys have indeed passed before him. So, if he died or was fatally injured, you turned over your backs. And whoever turns over the back of his feet, then he will never cause harm to Allah, while Allah will compensate the ones who thank.

My personal note:
This is a very significant Aya. It prepared the Muslims of the time to remain followers of the message of God, even after the death of the messenger.

This Aya came during that battle where there was a rumor that the prophet was fatally injured and that caused many of the followers to desert their places.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Wama: And not
Muhammadun: Muhammad (the name of the prophet)
Illa: except
Rasoolun: a messenger/ an envoy
Note: the root is R-S-L and it means to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or senders. RASOOLUN means an envoy or a messenger.
Qad: indeed
Khalat: they passed on/ they left/ they emptied
Note: the root is KH-L-W and it means emptying from all or emptying from all except ---. One concrete word that is from this root is KHALIA and is the name of the bee hive because it is empty of any life but the bees. KHALAT is an action that is completed that is derived from the root. It means: The action of emptying happened by the subject (third person plural feminine pointing ALRUSULU= the messengers).
Min: from
Qablihi: before him
Note: the root Qaf-B-L and it means front. This is then carried in time or space or any plain of thought. If it is in time, then front means before, while place would be in front. It is used to mean acceptance and reception since we receive and accept using our fronts. QABLI here is front in time and that is before. HI means him.
Alrrusulu: the messengers/ the envoys
Note: the root is R-S-L and it means to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or senders. ALRRUSULU means the messengers or the envoys.

Mata: He died
Note: the root is M-W-T and it means death or the opposite of life or the lack of voluntary movement. MATA is an action that is completed. It means: the action of dying or losing life or movement happened by the subject (third person singular pointing to Muhammad)
Aw: or
Qutila: was killed/ was fatally injured
Note: the root is Qaf-T-L and it means killing or actions that potentially can lead to death including injury and others. QUTILA is an action that is completed. It means: the action of killing or fatal action happened by an undeclared subject to the object (third person singular pointing to Muhammad).
Inqalabtum: you became turned away/ you were flipped over
Note: the root is Qaf-L-B and it means turning 180 degrees or upside down. The word is used for heart, because it is the organ that changes it’s moods often. INQALABTUM is an action that is completed. It means: the action of turning around or flipping over or upside down happened to the object (second person plural) without mention of a subject.
AAala: on
aAAqabikum: backs of your feet/ your rears
Note: the root is Ain-Qaf-B and it means back of foot. This is the concrete meaning and it is used to mean end, back or behind including the consequence of a person’s presence or action and it can also mean obstacle. aAAQABI means backs of feet of or rears of. KUM means plural you.
Waman: and whomever
Yanqalib: becomes flipped over/ becomes turned around
Note: YANQALIB is derived from the root Qaf-L-B and it means turning 180 degrees or upside down. The word is used for heart, because it is the organ that changes it’s moods often. YANQALIB is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of turning around or flipping over or upside down is happening or will be happening to the object (third person singular) without mention of a subject.

AAaqibayhi: on backs of his two feet
Note: the root is Ain-Qaf-B and it means back of foot. This is the concrete meaning and it is used to mean end, back or behind including the consequence of a person’s presence or action and it can also mean obstacle. AAaQIBAY means: backs of two feet of. HI means him.
Falan: then never
Yadurra: he causes harm/ cause no benefit
Note: the root is Dhad-R-R and it means harm or no benefit. YADURRA is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of causing harm or lack of benefit is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular) to the object (Allah, coming next). LAN YADURRA ALLAHA means: He will never cause harm to Allah.
Allaha: Allah
Shayan: an entity
Note: the root is SH-Y-Hamza and it means entity. SHAYAN means entity.
Wasayajzee: and He will compensate
Note: WA is a letter that links what is before with what is after. This link is through inclusion, either one is included in the other or they are all included in the bigger sentence or bigger picture. WA often corresponds with “and” but not always. SAYAJZEE is derived from the root J-Z-W and the meaning is to compensate and for the noun Compensation. SAYAJZEE is an action that will happen in the future. It means: the action of compensating will happen by the subject (Allah, coming next) to the object (alshakireena= the thankful)

Alshshakireena: the thankful/ the ones who thank
Note: the root is SH-K-R and it means thanking. ALSHSHAKIREENA are the ones who are thankful or the ones who thank.
