Salaam all,

This is 2:114
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَآ أولءك مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَآ إِلاَّ خَآئِفِينَ لَّهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Waman athlamu mimman manaAAamasajida Allahi an yuthkara feehaismuhu wasaAAa fee kharabiha ola-ikama kana lahum an yadkhulooha illa kha-ifeenalahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum fee al-akhiratiAAathabun AAatheemun

The Aya says:
And who misplaces right and wrong more than the one that blocks the places of worship (or places of showing signs of submission) of the GOD?! From having HIS (GOD’s) name be mentioned and remembered in them?! And who hurried in causing their destruction?! Those Do not enter them (MASAJID) except afraid. To them is humiliation in the nearer (life) and great suffering in the remaining (hereafter).

My personal note:
The AYA talks about the importance of never blocking people from worshipping GOD in the houses of worship. Doing that is a great sin.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Waman: And Who is
Note: this is a question and an exclamation point
Athlamu: More misplacing right and wrong/misplaces more right and wrong/transgresses
Note: the root is THa-L-M and it means to put something out of place in the concrete and transgressing or misplacing right and wrong in the abstract. The concrete word THALAM is related to the root and means Darkness which is one of the causes of misplacing things. ATHLAMU is an expression that means More misplacing of right and wrong.
Mimman: Than who/than whoever
manaAAa: blocked/barred
Note: the root is M-N-Ain and it means to block someone from doing something or to barr someone from doing something. MANaAAa is the third person singular past tense of the verb.
Masajida: places of performing prostration/worship (or any other acts that show signs of submission) of/for
Note: the root is S-J-D and it means to prostrate, ower your head, bow or any other act that shows reverence, respect and acceptance of the superiority to the one that it is performed against. The concrete word is used for the pal that is Sajida and it means that the palm is tilting under the heavy weight of the fruits. MASAJID are the places in which such acts are performed.
Allahi: The GOD
an yuthkara: That be mentioned and remembered
Note: AN means that. YUTHKARA is derived from the root is TH-K-R and it means to mention and/or to remember. YUTHKARA is a form of the root is means to be mentioned or remembered.
Feeha: In her/them (feminine plural)
Note: the HER points to the masajid
Ismuhu: His name (the name of GOD)
Note: the root is S-M-W and it means to rise. ISM means name and the relationship with the root is that when one calls the name of someone then the person will respond and rise.
wasaAAa: And hurried/worked with enthusiasm on
Note: WA means and. SaAAa is derived from the root S-Ain-W and it means to hurry but not run nor wallk. For the abstract it means to work on something with some enthusiasm as well as to aim for something. SaAAa is the third person singular past tense of the verb.
Fee: in
Kharabiha: Her/their destruction/causing her/their destruction
Note: the root is KH-R-B and it means to become destroyed/ damaged. KHARAB is what causes something to be destroyed and that is destruction itself or causes of destruction.
ola-ika: Those
ma kana: Was not
lahum: For them/to Them
an yadkhulooha: That they enter her/them (the masajid)
Note: AN means That. YADKHULOOHA is derived of the root D-KH-L and it means to enter. YADKHULOO is the third person plural present tense of the verb. HA means HER/them and it points to the masajid.
Illa: Except
kha-ifeena: Afraid
Note: the root is KH-W-F and it means to become afraid. KHA-IFEEN is plural of KHA-IF and it means afraid.
Lahum: To them (belong)
fee alddunya: In the nearer (this life)
Note: FEE means In. ALDDUNYA is derived from the root D-N-W and it means to become nearer in time or space, horizontally or vertically (as in lower/nearer to the ground). ALDDUNYA means the nearer and that points to this life because it is the nearer life in time to us.
Khizyun: Humiliation
Note: the root is KH-Z-Y and it means to humiliate. KHIZYUN means humiliation.
Walahum: And to them (belong)
fee al-akhirati: In the remaining/the later/the hereafter
Note: FEE means in. AL-AKHIRATI is derived from the root Hamza-KH-R and it means to become remaining in time (as in stay later and be delayed) or the remainder of anything. This term is used to mean the hereafter.
AAathabun: Suffering
Note: the root is Ain-TH-B and it means to avoid eating or drinking something really desireable because of suffering. AAaTHAB is the cause of the avoidance and that is the suffering.
AAatheemun: Great
Note: the root is Ain-THA-M and it means to become great in all it’s aspects (as in strong, hard, powerful and so forth). The concrete word is AAaTHM and it means bones or the strong/firm/hard core of things. AAaTHEEM means great like the greatness of the bones that hold the whole skeleton.
