2:117

Salaam all,

This is 2:117
بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْراً فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
BadeeAAu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wa-itha qada amran fa-innamayaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu

The Aya says:
Innovator and initiator of the heavens and the earth, and if HE decreed an order done, He only says be and it is.

My personal note:
This is a reminder of the marvelous abilities of GOD.

Translation of the transliterated words:
BadeeAAu: Innovator and initiator
Note: the root is B-D-Ain and it means to innovate and initiate something or an idea. BADeeAAu is the person that innovates and initiates the thing
Alssamawati: The aboves/the heavens
Note: the root is S-M-W and it means to rise. ALSAMAWAT is plural of SAMA’ and this word literally means the process that makes things rise and that is considered as the above itself or the roof or ceiling of anything.
waal-ardi: And the earth/the land
Note: this word means earth or land
wa-itha: And if
qada: Decreed (with the understanding of the decree being final and will be followed with action)
Note: the root is Qaf-Dhad-Y and it means to decree something as final and follow with action. QADA is the the third person singular past tense of the verb
Amran: An order to be done
Note: the root is Hamza-M-R and it means to order to do (something or anything). AMRAN is an order to do something or for something to be done.
fa-innama: So, only
yaqoolu: He Says
Note: the root is Qaf-W-L and it means to say. YAQOOLU is the third person singular present tense of the verb.
Lahu: To him
Note: the HIM here is the order AMR
Kun: Be
Note: the root is K-W-N and it is the verb to be. KUN is an order form of the verb.
Fayakoonu: So he is/will be
Note:FA means SO. The root is K-W-N and it is the verb to be. YAKOON is the third person singular present or future tense of the verb.

Salam all and have a great day

Hussein
