3:54

Salaam all,

This is 3:54
وَمَكَرُواْ وَمَكَرَ اللّهُ وَاللّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ
Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru almakireena

The Aya says:
And they planned secretly and Allah planned secretly, and Allah (is) the best planner, in secret.

My personal note:
When the Aya says that Allah is the best in planning secretly, it encompasses at least two meanings, but may be more as well:
1- He is best at planning in secret and at outmaneuvering anyone who schemes against Him and His messengers.
2- He is best in the term of having the best intentions for the people and at attaining the best results for His people and in effect for the whole of humanity.

Translation of the transliterated words:
Wamakaroo: and they planned secretly/ and they schemed
Note: WA means and. MAKAROO is derived from the root M-K-R and it means planning secretly or in a subtle manner or scheming. MAKAROO is an action that is completed. It means: the action of planning secretly or scheming happened by the subject (third person plural)
Wamakara: And He planned secretly/ and He schemed
Note: WA means and. MAKARA is derived from the root M-K-R and it means planning secretly or in a subtle manner or scheming. MAKARA is an action that is completed. It means: the action of planning secretly or scheming happened by the subject (third person singular pointing to Allah which is coming next)
Allahu: Allah
Note: Allah is the subject of the previous word.
waAllahu: And Allah
khayru: better of/ best of
Note: the root is KH-Y-R and it means choice. It is also understood as good or as better, because one would chose the good over the bad. KHAYRU means: better or best of, in this sentence.
Almakireena: the ones who plan secretly/ the schemers
Note: the root M-K-R and it means planning secretly or in a subtle manner or scheming. ALMAKIREENA are the ones who plan in a subtle secret manner or who scheme

Salaam all and have a great day

Hussein
