This is 3:127
لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنقَلِبُواْ خَآئِبِينَ
LiyaqtaAAa tarafan mina allatheena kafaroo aw yakbitahum fayanqaliboo khaibeena
The Aya says:
In order to cut off a party of the people who rejected, or humiliate them, so they become flipped over without achievement.

My personal note:
This Aya continues the theme of the previous one where God continues that He will support the people who have safety in Him by cutting off a party of the rejecters by making them disappear, or that He will humiliate them into failure.

Translation of the transliterated words:
LiyaqtaAAa: To cut off/ to make disappear/ go away
Note: LI means to or in order to. YAQTaAAa is derived from the root Qaf-TTa-Ain and it means cutting as a conceptual meaning which can be very concrete or differently. In this sentence, it is used more to mean make go away or disappear. YAQTaAAa is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of cutting is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular pointing to God) on the object (Tarafan= an edge, a party) that is coming up.
Tarafan: a group / an edge
Note: the root is TTA-R-F and it means in concrete the two edges of the eye or the upper and lower eye lids. The word is then used to mean seeing or vision or glimpse or edges as conceptual backgrounds. TARAFAN means edge or a group in this instance because the group is on an edge or a group is seen.

Kafaroo: rejected
Note: the root is K-F-R and it means burying the seed in the ground for planting. It is used to mean rejection of an idea because that means covering the brain in the ground from the idea or covering the idea so that it is not known or seen. KAFAROO is an action that is derived from the root and that is completed. It means the action of rejection happened by the subject (third person plural pointing to any group that fits the description. Here it points to allatheena= those who). It means they rejected.

Yakbitahum: make them defeated/ make them burdened/ make them humiliated
Note: the root is K-B-T and it means humiliation and defeat and burden. YUKBITA is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of making the object (HUM= them) defeated or burdened or humiliated is happening or will be happening by the subject (third person singular pointing to God).
Fayanqaliboo: so they turn around/ so they flip over
Note: FA means then or therefore or so. YANQALIBOO is derived from the root Qaf-L-B and it means turning 180 degrees or upside down. The word is used for heart, because it is the organ that changes it’s moods often. YANQALIBOO is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of turning around or flipping over or upside down is happening or will be happening to the object (third person plural) without mention of a subject.
Khaibeena: in a state of failure/ in a state of lack of achievement.
Note: the root is KH-Y-B and it means inability to achieve the goal that one was trying to achieve. This is then used for failure in the conceptual way. KHAIBEENA means in a state of failure or a state of lack of achievement.
