3:132

Salaam all,

This is 3:132
وَأَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
WaateeAAoo Allaha waalrrasoola laAAallakum turhamoona

The Aya says:
And obey Allah and the messenger, perhaps you will receive Mercy.

My personal note:
The word that is between Allah and the messenger is the letter WAW. Waw is usually translated as and. However, it signifies inclusion, either that the two statements are included in each other or that they are included in a bigger statement or field. Here, it carries the meaning that obeying the messenger is included within obeying Allah. So, a person obeys Allah by obeying Allah as mentioned in His book. The person also obeys Allah by obeying the messenger. The two overlap but are not the same. However, it also means that the messenger will never order people to do something contrary to what God orders.

Translation of the transliterated words:
WaateeAAoo: and obey/ and make yourselves willingly comply
Note: Wa connects what is before with what is after. This connection is often through inclusion. Either that what is before and after are included in each other, or all are included in the sentence or bigger picture. ATeeAAoo is derived from the root TTa-W-Ain and it means willing compliance. AteeAAoo is an order addressed to a group of people. It means: make your-selves comply willingly or obey
Allaha: Allah
Waalrrasoola: and the messenger/ the envoy
Wa connects what is before with what is after. This connection is often through inclusion. Either that what is before and after are included in each other, or all are included in the sentence or bigger picture. ALRRASOOLA is derived from the root R-S-L and it means to envoy someone or a group of people or animals. The concrete word is RASL and it means a group of people or animals that were sent by their owners or senders. ALRRASOOLA means the envoy or the messenger.
laAAallakum: perhaps
turhamoona: You (plural) will receive mercy
Note: the root is R-Ha-M and it means womb in concrete. This term is used to mean mercy and all the good that the womb provides. TURHAMOONA is an action that is being completed or will be completed. It means: the action of mercy will happen to the object (second person plural) by an undeclared subject.

Salaam all and have a great day.

Hussein
